Korp is Språkbanken’s word‑research platform where you can search large amounts of text from, among other sources, newspapers, fiction, and social media. The text collections, the corpora, are annotated with linguistic and other attributes.
Beside the user interface, you can use the Web API directly from custom scripts and specialized software. Note that the API URL is versioned, and older versions will eventually be shut down.
The Korp lab is an experimental instance of Korp where we sometimes put up new changes for evaluation.
The source code is open and released under the MIT license. You can install your own instance of Korp or contribute to the development.
